Application and technical characteristics
The AG spreader roller is made of a series of steel small blocks. They are linked to each other internally.
The covering of these blocks can be ground, Chromum plated, Chromum plate with special surface treatments (ex: antiadehesive).
It is usually used as alternative to the curved rubber spreader roller, for spreading particularly abrasive materials and high paper weight.
The application system is very similar to that of the curved rubber spreader roller.
This roller is particularly suitable for very high speed.
The maximum rotation speed is in relation to the roller diameter and the distance between its supports.

Operation
AG spreader roller normally runs idle and is pulled by the film running.
If necessary the roller can be equipped with a belt pulley.
The roller is fixed to the machine frames by supports.
The handwheel on the supports regulates the incidence of the material on the roller.
